Word To The Ys

Tonight I was on “getting the kids to bed” duty. The moment came to bring Seth into his room for his journey to Sleepville, and before carrying him out of the older boys’ bedroom I asked if they wanted to say goodnight. Ollie kissed Seth on the head and said, “Goodnight, Seth!” Seth mumbled “good night” through his pacifier and waved his chubby little hands. Then Max approached Seth and, embracing him, said, “I love you, Seth. You’re the most beautiful baby in all the world.”

I may be very, very biased but I’d have to agree.

Then Max, leaving for his “big kid” privilege (extended reading time on the living room couch), hugged Ollie across the baby gate in the doorway and said, “Aw, Oliver, I love you.” To which Ollie responded, “Aw. I love you too.”

Aw.

Aw.

I just love the way these three little brothers love one another.
